 The Essendon District Football League is pleased to announce the appointment of Marc Turri to the position of EDFL General Manager. Marc brings a wealth of experience to the EDFL having worked as Marketing and Sponsorship Manager with Williamstown Football Club, Chief Executive Officer with the Western Border Football League and recently as Football Operations Manager with AFL Northern Territory.
Ian Price, EDFL Chairman said “We are very pleased to have Marc on board as he brings a vast amount of experience and knowledge to the EDFL which will be valuable as we move into the next stage of our strategic plan”. Marc has experience at Executive level which will be beneficial for the EDFL and its affiliated clubs with his skills in business development, sponsorship, local government liaison and strategic development across all areas of football. Marc is also professionally qualified with a Bachelor of Arts (Sports Administration) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting).
