Congratulations to the 25 players who have made the final squad for the EDFL 2013 Under 16 Representative Team.  Once again it has been a difficult task with a high quality representation from all the clubs.  Each year I have the privilege of working with these fine young men and I know that some very good people will be unable to find a place for themselves in this squad.  Keep working hard and remember that perseverance is a key quality in success. 

For those young men whose names are on the list training is as normal on Tuesday.  We have two sessions before our first match against the WRFL team on Tuesday June 11.  For those who are not listed I hope you can take something from the sessions back to your home club and good luck for the rest of the season.  If anyone wants to discuss the selection I can be reached on 0418 588 747.

I would like to congratulate the final 26 boys for making our squad, after a very long training regime your enthusiasm, endeavor and football  ability has seen you rewarded with an opportunity to shine and show your talent on a very big stage, good luck to all of our players and remember to have fun and enjoy your football, no matter what the situation.

To the boys who have missed out on selection, I want to thank you for your time and effort throughout our selection process, it is never easy and I hope that you can all take something with you back to your club,  work hard and listen to your coaches. 

Selection is hard and the difference from making or not can sometimes be very small, you should all be proud of yourselves.

Thank you also to all our wonderful parents for your time and effort, for without you the boys would not get the chance to shine.

Under 14 Interleague Training will continue on Monday nights starting on Monday 25 March at Airport West Football Club. 

Training will start at 6:00pm but all players are asked to please be at the ground at 5:45pm.
